3 years of hibernation,, what's new!

Three years since I last posted. Reading my last post reminds me that only those promises should be made which can be kept.

Continuing from where I left in my last post where I said:
"Quite a few things happened ,, I made some real good friends.. (one very special :)), had my first flight and that too for inter-continental!! .. quit my job., landed up in a new firm,, now going to CMU,, Carnegie Mellon University, USA."

The updates:
1. Biggest of all news is that I am going to get married to that special friend of mine in 2012 :). We both graced CMU's Pittsburgh campus in Aug, 2008. To share my CMU experience would take one dedicated post but for both of us it gave nice zipped version of how our lives would be together after marriage. Crazy schedule at CMU tested the best out of us, we had our fair share of ups and downs, laughs and tears. I believe we did well. It was great to have someone to boost you up out of your misery when chips were down. We decided to extend that experience for life and so it continues :).

2. With world economy in recession, US economy wasn't doing great. Year 2009 was important forme and while I worked hard for it, I was fortunate to land up internship in Qualcomm, Santa clara in Android engineering. It was a nice experience and the highlight was visit to Google campus. It simply has the best perks for its employees!

3. By the end of my third semester I had to get admitted to UPMC for a mix of complications. I was on bed for almost a week. Both my doctor sisters came to Pittsburgh to look after me and that made things a lot easier. I love my sisters!

4. I love and respect Prof. David A. Eckhardt too. My health issues had given me a tough time. To make matters worse it was in the semester when I had taken OS (15410), arguably the most feared course in CMU. I had a great time learning the internals of an OS and writing mine almost from scratch. Prof Dave really was very understanding and asked me to do submissions and write the final exam which I had missed, next semester. It meant more workload for next semester but it was the only option and the best one. I believe I fared well scoring a perfect 4.0 in the next semester courses and completing OS assignments, along with my TA duties and preparing for/giving interviews. Almost a load of 72+ units but it all ended well.

5. I joined Netapp, Sunnyvale, CA on June 14th, 2010 in the Scale out networking team. Till now it's been a wonderful experience. I have seniors who inspire you to become better and do your best. Everyone is ready to help and share one's knowledge. No wonder it's been there in top 10 of best companies list for the last 8 years. Cheers to Netapp!

A real gentle reminder..

Hmmm.. I have committed a crime.. "Return of Zedi"??? and after that almost an year's hibernation.. Hell!! my blog needed me and I ignored it .. I need to be punished,, or may be I have been.

In any case, it was a real gentle reminder by my friend who mailed me the blog link as subject line.
Quite a few things happened ,, I made some real good friends.. (one very special :)), had my first flight and that too for inter-continental!! .. quit my job., landed up in a new firm,, now going to CMU,, Carnegie Mellon University, USA.

I hope to get more honest with my blog from now own,,

cheers!

Realizing the Unknown

It's probably one of those posts which I really wanted to write.
I do have penned (or.. keyed ) a few which really didn't come off naturally.
There's been one about the call centers, the cinema blasts, the CBMs and ..the Goa trip (..and the Goa one is something I would always look at whenever I get down :) ), they came off naturally ..and probably I can write a thousand more with same intensity but then some things are better not told!
So what's this one gonna be about..
well what would you say about a weekend on which you walked quite a distance day and night long
, got a few cramps...ate food which is purely for those who don't have taste buds ?
and would you say if I tell you guys that probably it was the best weekend I have ever had...probaly tht I have gone insane and is just the after effects of my experiences of this weekend?

Well this weekend I went to Vaishnodevi, and got struck by not one or two but a number of moments of enlightenments...and that's what I am gonna discuss here.

1. Well why everything has to start off from flashback? After the trip I would say it was the start. It started off with having a kewl dude attitude to have some kicks and that's what I have realised that why do discoveries happen when you get lost :). In life you never know that even a fall of yours can make you land up in a gold mine...in my case it was a start to a journey of self enlightenments.

2. There were times when I slept on the street, ... I was least worried about the people around me. And that was the second one...A poor guy sleeping on the street should be looked at with high respect...he's down there cause he's done with all the hardwork for the day. He's enjoying his share of reward ..and that's a good night sleep.

3. There were times when I thought I couldn't take it and thought of going back to the hotel but then I did complete my journey. That's the third one..a man's limitations are his own creation. I felt that I couldn't move an inch even then I covered several miles. Think beyond what you think you can think off...

4. All the way I was crying foul..cribbing about food, the road etc...but when I was done with it, It occured to me that probably that was the best trip of my life. That's the fourth one...in life your biggest rewards come after going through most painful experiences...

Rest all I think would make my post very long....but one thing I know now. That there are roads to be travelled and goals to be achieved ..what was impossible for me yesterday is a possibility today. :)..
all the very best to me!!

January 30th, 06...

The date is important. It's important since it's another day gone by of my life and I enjoyed it thoroughly. Noo..dun you think I'll keep on writing such posts with a new date on it. I just wanna underline my idea...that everyday is to be celebrated. The most interesting thing is that you don't need to be a celebrity to celebrate it. :)...

I scrawl down anything that comes to my mind and is weird...:

"Life should be all about additions and subtractions. There should be no calculus involved." (i.e. always try to make it simple...)

"The first man to get inspired from ..."An apple a day keeps the doctor away.", was indeed Adam!" :) ...( Medico's must be knowing what an Adam's Apple is. )

"I can do any multiplication of n number of terms in a second, ...if only one of the terms is 0." :

"I truely believe in the theory of panspermia. Since men are from mars and women are from venus, the natives i think were only hermephrodites." ;)

Adios ;).

I hope I am like that....

it's just one of the thing i came across...i never really knew there was so much to my name...

P is for Powerful
R is for romantic
A is for adventurous
B is for Brilliant
H is for Helpful
A is for Artistic
K is for Keen
A is for Artistic
R is for Refined

It says too many things...
P for powerful...well i really dun know..i mean i m almost a 1D man..and so thin that at times i can slip through slit of my room door..and i am still unemployed...still 1.5 months to go for my joining...but given a situation and my interest in that i feel i can dictate terms...if i really want to!!;).
R for romantic... I really need a subject to try and test that out...any volunteers??>:D...
A for Adventurous... well most of my adventures..activities are indoors..hehehee..like trying to get the bug out of my room..and beating some german asses in my fav. computer game CALL OF DUTY...so i m adventurous...virtually :).
B for Brilliant...No comments!!!o:).
H for helpful...recently got disqualified for some test cause i was helping my friend clear the test...the firm was good with great package..he did clear..but my sheet was not checked..they thought i was the one who needed help...i also didn't put my case forward...i have already got what i wanted...*content*.
A for Artistic...:okee i feel so...that won't be a hyperbole if i tell you guys i learnt the lead on guitar on my own...and can play it quite well...though still i dunno the technical terms for the various chords and other stuff about that... and I do paint..and wish i could show you guys some, ...my fav is "Reaching for the Apple of Sin"...i don't maintain a collection..but i believe i can find that...in the piles of papers that i have in my room, will get that scanned soon.
K for keen...:how did they find out...lemme check ;).
A for artistic...: well i didn't know i was doubly artistic :D.
R for refined...: I think I am attimes and pretty crude at other times...though I enjoy the most when I am crude.

I don't know how true that was the things i got for my name...but surely it gives a very interesting answer for my next interview on landlines...i.e. for call centers...>:D....now i'll surely describe myself to them...
adios

Call fom the call center.....

well the last post might have potrayed me a boffin but believe me ...i am just a normal guy..with not so normal heart and completely abnormal attitude. Anyways this post is not meant to write abstract stuff, lemme tell you about me, things which are more concrete.
I was searching for something to write about...life has come to a standstill all of a sudden, so all I am doing right now is just trying to kill some time, as my earliest joining date has still 1.5 months to go. And since i don't like sitting kicking my toes all the time, I decided to have some fun........so i decided to send my resume to one of the call centers.....so just applied online.
After few days I did get a call on phone....

mummy: johny come...some girl on phone. (with some puzzled look on her face...because not many call me :-)).

ladyqs1: hello is this Prabhakar Lakhera?
Means1: Yeah this is Prabhakar. (I am pretty sure she already had the answer.)

ladyqs2: It's in response to your apllication for XYZ....can you describe yourself.
( i really don't like the word describe...it makes you feel as if you are nothing but some mathematical equation...i know some ppl who are Y axis and some who are, x^2+y^2+z^2=r^2, physically but i think for my shape i'll have to use splines...but then as i thought it was about telling her who am I!!...why can't they just say:"Can you tell us something about yourself?").
Means2: hey I think most of the acad things are on the resume that i mailed you guys..and my name too... my hobbies too..... so what exactly do you want know.....

ladyqs3: Just assume I know nothing about you...tell me your name...and go on.(lolz...Whom she was asking on phone then?? it reminds me of the famous dialogue from Sholay when Amitabh says: "Basanti tumahraaa... naam kya hai?"....first the "Describe" thing and then the stupid idea..i was really not feeling very great..).
Means3: Okay ( ..buhaann :-((,..) I am Prabhakar Lakhera, and I did my B.E. from NSIT, Delhi. My stream was ICE. I am a deadliner and try to finish my work before the deadline comes ..so that i can go through the things i have done and see that there are no mistakes....and (now i really broke down.... ) ...and blah blah blah!!!! I mean what else do you wanna know?

Ladyqs4: Okay okay...tell me about your family.
Means4: (ahhhhh!!! finally some good qs , i love telling people about my family :).) Yeah, it is a big family..;) . I have four sisters..the eldest is Regional commissioner EPFO, my 2nd sis is practicing medicine in USA, then my 3rd sis is doing Phd from Mississippi, USA and my youngest sister is in final year MBBS from LHMC, delhi. My mother is a housewife and my father is scientist at DIPAS, DRDO.
( i know what the lady must have been thinking.."why is he applying for a call center job??"...)

ladyqs5: (suspicious now!) Hmmm ..Why do you wanna do this job?
Means5: Hey i think the job profile suits me to a T and there are lots of growth opportunities for me. ..(lolz ;))

ladyqs6: Where do you stay...?
Means6: (laughing...)Well most of the time in my home..;)
"(lolz from other side!!!!!!!!)...nooooo..hehe"
okee i mean it's R.K. Puram, New Delhi.>:D!!

ladyqs7: Okay..hmmm...Can you come for night shifts?
Means7: Hell no!!..i mean.. i can't because I don't have a conveyance..

"But that would b provided by us."
No i am sorry...security concerns...

"but even girls come for night shifts..."
buttt.. . (..wondering whether it was incentive or a fact...)...okay point noted..
i mean if i say..i m okay with that...is it gonna increase my chances of getting in..!!?

"well yes..then we can straight away take you!!!"
(enuf of it.....hufff...) ok i'll let you know.

"can i hv your cell plzzz."
I am afraid but..i don't have a cell..

"well you'll have now....ok give me your residence number..."
(...lolz..!!! or was it a trick question!) Hey... i think you called me on some number...that's the one!!!!!

" okay in a week's time i would let ya know...."
okay ...done..can i have your number please..?

" well it's ....#%#$%^&^#.."
Noooo i mean >:D...your perrrrsonaal number..

" (Lolz...) hey ...you can call me here. You'll find me at my desk only..."
okayyy...

" hey nice talking to you ..."
believe me !!! same here...

"byee"
okss ciao.

....

and so i really had some fun there, there were other qs too...but too many to mention... "Do you feel comfortable talking to the foreigners..." :| ..i can't talk in french, spanish, german, japanese...so generally NO!!! and i also don't spend much of my time at CP trying to get a word from the Goras ;)...so i told her...i haven't been to USA or UK...so I really can't rate myself for that... but it was a nice experience..you get to know the process that goes into the selection process and listening to the accent of the interviewer makes you feel proud that now it's us who are torturing the Britishers >:D....

adios and have a great day!!!!
love you all...( the feelings even more true for the girls ;)...)

If, else, if else…

hello friends.....
hope you all doing fine. i am alive and kicking. Last couple of days left for the BTpresentation..
as i told you guys, that i don't feel like singing serenades for ne anthropoid ..here on earth, so may b i'll just buy a ticket from NASA tourism..and go to Venus to find out..What's wrong at that place >:D..cause i have been told ..women are from Venus and the XYs are Martians ;-). Anyways i still took out some time, (kauli...thank God for small mercies :P)..and came out with these lines ..(caution: it's a heavy weight programming ;-), meant only for the software guys) others can try ..and my best wishes for your efforts....but if you already read that then ask any tyro in prog..and he'll let you know ..IT"S ALL CRAP!!!;-)

If, else, if else…

There’s a lot of time I spend
To get my life debugged
I have done so many syntax errors
I’ll take decades to get it figured

I included all the headers
The iostream, math & the conio
And climbed the tallest tower of Hanoi
That I even forgot who was Romeo

Love for me is a language
I know I just can’t understand
As if “for, while, do while” were not enough
It’s got more loops than I can comprehend

Since I knew heart has got 4 chambers
I used {(girl*)malloc(******xfour)}
I don’t know why they could not cooperate
I found myself knocking on a closed door

I tried to correct and compile
And I even tried the OOP
One thing I got all cleared
I wasn’t good at writing an SOP

I switched to many different algorithms
To try to find out it’s a fault of who’s
Life is different than a program
I realized then, there are no “goto”es

Something I felt!!!!!!!!!
And before the omnipotent I knelt.

Some strange fine round pearls left my eyes,
Rolling down my cheeks, which to me was feminine.
I couldn’t believe a programmer could feel this way,
So I tasted with my tongue, the drops indeed tasted saline.

Post getting long, I can read your mind,
I know this one you are finding gross.
Top right corner of the screen you’ll find,
All you need to do is to click on the cross.

NO NO NO...no good now to beat your head, it's over it's past and you have read it, no good if you cursing me right now...i told you before ;-) >:D...
ciao guys...tell me how it's being getting brain damaged.

INCONTROVERTIBLE CONTRADICTION......

afer accepting kaulism, the time i felt was ripe to try to have my brain Cals. burn for some creative
stuff...so if you guys, as kaul says, have survived his quest for true love...lemme warn you it's the next level of that part..and surely this time ur chances of survival are really slim...neways me not feeling quixotic thesedays, it's been 4 yrs...and 4 long yrswhen i last felt my heart beationg 80/s...but it's been a perfect 70/s for quite some time now....and i am more into painting and guitar and stuff....so i need grace marks from all of the people...20 minutes down..all i could come up was this......

There was I standing, I felt so small

Kicking my toes on an isolated wharf,

To figure out looking at the Cyclops’s eye

Others were giants or was I dwarf

The noise kept coming from distant corners

I looked around for a thousand times

I found myself confused and drawn

Calculating in my head the biggest of primes

I have seen the most familiar faces

With the most foreign smiles

Playing the most wicked of moves

On the sixty four black and white tiles

I have seen the nymphs of the world

But none with a heart of gold

I found the most charming face

With both my eyes closed

I know the people are scared of

Ghosts, spirits, phantoms & lord

They say he’s the most sacred

But I m most afraid of God

Jaded, exhausted and with my leg twisted

I have covered a zillion miles

Cause I love to see on the bony faces

With dry lips having the most godly smiles

I can give the last of my blood drops

To try to save the last of its zygote

But the Humanity has its fast dying crops

No denying the chances to are remote

Though it looks even on both sides

But the lever is tilted, there’s no fulcrum

Futile is my effort, but I’ll keep trying

I wish I could solve life’s conundrum

i gotta leave now for my college, it's project time and only 3 days left for the Viva, then i am all free to fall in love ;)......and after 2 or 3 months after my joining i'll be ready for any commitment being finacially & mentally independent....anyways..why to bore you guys with that...you all just take care and enjoy being under the shadow of the cupid, .....

adios...love you all

prabhakar...( single & "loo" king >:D..nthing just bad digestion...)

To the countrymen............and women

Can i say good morning to all? can i because the calender shows May 23rd and it's just a day after the Twin Blasts at two of the cinema halls in Delhi and I am here thinking how abysmal has this world become...well i can't blame the world cause i haven't seen much part of it, so I'll share with you guys what signals i got through my retina which got processed in my brain and got stuck there, the images are still flashing in front of my eyes and are refusing to fade away, making feel nauseated and sick of........ no not the country... but some of my countrymen..with whom I share my nationality.......

-------------------------------------------***********------------------------------------
22nd March, 2005
8:25 pm
reports come on the screens about the first blast at LIBERTY on 24x7 NEWS channels, finally getting something gripping to air to the public, which they know will see atleast for the next 6 hours non-stop and will make them look concerned. So the screen lights up with all the gory images, which the news reader is quick to point out are the first images being telecast, exclusively on $$%@. Well the situation is grave and ppl are watching with gaping mouths, but then ..." ABHI WAQT HAI EK BREAK KA, APP HAMARE SAATH BANE RAHIYE, DEKHTE RAHIYE...#@$@#$",...so people also take their time out, calling out their family members, and telling them to charge up their CRTs. After the "Priya Gold..HAQ SE MANGO" advertisement, fianlly comes the pretty face on the screen...and the same clips shown repeatedly..non stop!!,,,,
25 minutes gone by and suddenly hell breaks loose...
NEWS READER:"I'll have to interrupt here but we have reports coming in that there is one more blast at another cinema hall..Satyam..Satyam...hello anil can you hear me..."
ANIL:(fiddling with his earplug...no response...,,)
N.R.: hello anil kya aap meri awaaz sin pa rahein hain. (....now in hindi, as if the cable will provide more bandwidth for our most respectfully insulted National Language.)
ANIL:("still not knowing where has he landed up....")
N.R.: "I think we have lost contact with our correspondent there..well we'll mve on to the Honourable #$#@ who's on phone with us.. so sir how garve is the law and order situation in the capital".
The BIG tummy dummy: well the situation is under control! (!!!!!!!!!!!!now what's that?? it's a bit funny..like opening the umbrella after getting all drenched and drained in the rain.)
N.R. : sir how big was the blast? Where from the explosives came? (...i wonder if the N.R. is thinking the man on the phone himself planted the explosive there...)
The BIG tummy dummy: hey..nothing to worry about.it wasn't a Big explosion, people hvn't got burns..only external injuries(...hmmm..so u get burns from inside..another imbecile! 1 dies, 500 ppl get injured, that too only an official figure, and he wants us to believe someone only farted!! )
-------------PHONE LINE GONE!!!!( must be a garuda connection!)--------------------
the N.R. looks horrorstruck guess what it was time for another commercial break and he's already 1 minute late in taking that...so he takes that and finally after the 10 minutes of lies and false promises on T.V. (..resembling a bit like the indian election campaign) ANIL gets connected.....ANIL the 007...yup he looks like one of the IIMA material and an expert in deductive reasoning,
ANIL:"hello newscenter...this is Anil from..LIBERTY.. according to reports reaching us there has been another blast at Satyam cineplex...and I would like to point out that both halls were screening the new flick "JO BOLE SO NIHAL", featuring Sunny Deol. The film was in controversy due to some objection raised by SGPC, and was already banned in punjab.....probably (..taking a deep breath...to help him exhale more, as simple as that), there can be some religious fundamentalists behind these blasts."(..what more can you do to act as a responsible journalist..helping to maintain a secular environment in the country...???? May be Anil is thinking "Why can't ppl apply there brain may be i should tell them cause i m smart.")

anyways suddenly mutilated bodies have started coming out of the scene and they are being "rushed" to the nearby Hospital LHMC, not exactly rushed cause there are ppl, taking there skullheads out of there windows to have a look at the site and for that obviously they have to slow off to have a nice look, thus causing traffic snarls and making the ambulance go at 20 km/hr and ofcourse there are future SRKs too, who are using this opportunity to impress Mr. Ghai to take them into his next film. I can see a mother crying for her child..and is not in the focus thuogh , suddenly the cameraman gets it too and here he goes zoooming on her face...suddenly after seeing that the camera on her..number of people helping her increases...then come the ugly faces...laughing in front of the camera, waving to the T.V. audience, making ample use of someone's tragedy.
As if things are not that gauche..comes another reporter...and he's got a cameraman with him...and he's taking us into the wardrooms...yes exclusively...and meets a guy bleeding from head to toe, being taken on stretcher, the reporter decides he won't leave him alone, so what does he do......
"haaan apka naam?" ( moving with the stretcher....)
" (....no answer)"
"kya hua tha wahan?"(...trying to keep pace)
"p..at..,a n..ah.iin
"Aap us waqt kahan thei?"
"mai...nnn to.i.toilet mai..n t..ha"
"Phir kya hua?
"...p..ata na.naa.h.in.."
" Abhi aap ko kahan le ja rahein hain?" (can you believe that?)
"me..mere..re ko fir.st a.id ke li..ye le ja.a ra..he ha..in" (cries out in pain! and is then breezed to the OPD).
that extra effort of the reporter really makes me sick,,, and makes me look down at their feet ....have they really turned their toes...??--------------------------
-----------------------------------****************----------------------------------

Have we really lost our souls..to the clique of murderers now turned politicians...or to the cricketers who do everything other than playing cricket...well i do have interest in both the things...but the way people acted that day really shook me to my senses, and cautioned me so that i don't become the same ugly face of today's "more civilised society" better off me being a gawanr.
But I have realised like most other people I am also a passive mourner, and i know the theater won't allow me a big role, but i'll strive hard and contribute in whichever way possible.
GOD give wisdom to the people of the "sacred land" .

THE GALAXY......in which i lived once....

so the exams ended after what seemed to be an endless wait, i dunno it always feels tht way whether there r 3 or 5 subjects. the final touches to the guillotine were given by the subject paper..which could only b solved by THE MATRIX men...and i know we have someNeo(s)in oue class,... wheeew the subject had so many Matrices to solve....."ROBOTICS"...never knew it would b so very boring when i started this semester...it was really a cherry on top after DSP paper and so....... i was murdered this time.."again".
But that's not what i'll be talking here abt...it's a blog of my chums...and i don't wanna bore you guys..so that was also the day of our final visit to college as students of ICE batch 2001...and couldn't have allowed a piece of wood cellulose to upset our day...so we moved to a better place..the devi ka mandir..called PRIYA..and we worshiped a lot...;-)hey just japing yaar ...we are not despos...just went in there to hv a good time, had some snacks, did some tafari here and there and then came back. we also talked about how our college days went by...and i though that i should also post to my blog and put my perspectve at the right place...kaul babu says that "Prabhu u take a lots of names and that's why you get into trouble." so here i m at my job again but this time i'll only write good things abt other but i won't lie too so i'll write abt those ppl whom i think do have something which set them apart from the crowd. Well the word for that a long time before would be "egregious" but that has aquired a new and derogatory meaning in past few decades ( the black sheep of the herd).. .but what i mean is these r the ppl i believe who'll stand out and will perform mind blowingly well and some names i'll be writing cause i simply love them.:) some names i won't be able to include, cause i never had the opportunity to be with or observe a lot. So here are few stars of THE GALAXY..i feel proud to be a part of:
ROHIT KAUL: i m starting with name cause he's the most persistent one and since he'll visit my blog before all of you guys:-p. well he's a leader in a sense tht he really inspires in his own way..my blogging started since he was doing it in a very impressive way. Well the "UNSTOPPABLE" has made it to IIML and i said was a tough contender before THE WAR began, simply because he never gives up. if i only had 50% of his determination..i dunno where i'll see myself in the next 10 yrs!!
SANDEEP: sandy as we call him, is a maharaja of sorts...and i'll call him "THE PLAYER OF THE WORDS".
apart from that a very aggressive and a person with a great brain, was my another bet for CAT but he missed at the last hurdle, otherwise he would have cleared the interview with all ease and i know he'll do it the very next time..so all the very best.
VAIBHAV: chottu, tingu, vibhu whatever we call him...this "{ 4 FT 4" }"device comes with one of the fastest processors in the world between his ears. he lives in the vedic world of mathematics and calculates in his mind, even after 4 yrs at an engg college...i wish i could also travel bk in vedic times..but that would require more than a time machine i know....great going vaibhav ...but plzz gve horn when you drive next time, i really want you to live long!!!
SAUMITRA RAJ MEHROTRA: behind this big name is a very thin guy..;-)( heheehe...just like me!!) saumi's gonna play the protogonist of "Inscrutable Americans" this summer when he lands up there in US of A. (United State of Adultry) after getting a great great GRE score of (%^$#) . God save his virginity!! He's the man behind the -ive inductor...and who knows if he makes a -ve oscilltor too and thus adding this to our ears would stop the aging process. Saumi don't get angry, you know you one of the best Pals i have. actually he's the Mr. Cool of teh group and can never let neone get to his nerves,(...one of the most impo quality to survive in market) so a great buffer for me!!.
SHITIZ: "Shittie"..and i know this name of his smells a bit foul but he's one with a very pleasant personality...a vijay to all veerus...can get you into trouble without making you angry. he's the one who inspired me to get some marks..and got inspired from me to lose all of his..so we swapped personalities a little while bk:-). he;s a hardcore punjabi..and never believe him when he says he daoes hv chutta and will give ur Rs 5 tommorow!!!
he's the one who's gonna mke ppl rock at the INFY campus...may you get some other saumi there.
SAUMIK BASAK: well "THE JAVA MAN" is one to look out for in the software arena. probably the one who takes things least seriously and even then manages to survive. A bangali at heart, he's not rasugulla (..he's not that fair..) but a gulabjamun. i know working for INFY he'll make the QUARK ppl kick their own butt. saumik before you leave the college plzz say ur dil ki baat...life never waits for you!!
SUMMIT SINGH: ,,,,Bunty don't beat me foe this..But "BUNTY FINALLY GOT A BUBBLY!!" in the 7th sem...bunty and don't think me making ne fun just want you to take things in a lighter ..i felt just as bad as all ne1 from the grp...god kick the teacher to hell... i know u'll clear it. he's just like ne other sardar and hs got good sense of humour and mainuu bunty naal pyaar ho gaya hai..see i m learning punjabi too..i know i take a lot of panga with you..but tht's because i and we all love you.
PRASHANT BHORIA: ummmmm...i know he won't read it but i can't miss THE MAN 's name. and the thoughts abt him r my personal opinion. He's the kind of talent that i really feel envy of... if only i had that much potential..i would have used it most efficiently. He says if he was organised he would be dangerous..i would say he's the most dangerously disorganised person..he can do some stuff that i can't do even after putting my best efforts..A great sense of music, a great brain, a great heart..the most unselfish of all, always smilling in any situation...i would love to see him getting to new heights...but it's really a time to do what the world's been waiting for....ALL THE BEST!!
ROHAN MORARKA: what can i say,.. it was a priviledge to hv you in the same batch...THE ENCARTA of the class..knows even the name of the dog of the aunty's cousin sisters friend's father who lives on the dholpur gaon , Rajasthan wheewww. I dunno how many GBs he's got up there in his brain but if he's got some extra plzzz gimme some i m still living in the KBs age:-(..
Words for the Man..: since now that IIMA ppl have got what they deserved;-)....plzz pay some attention to ur dimensions(/ health) and come out of the 1 D world to the 3D;-). and bhoria u come out of 4D world ..Lose some weight!!
RATIKA GUPTA: ratti is probably the girl in the class with cutest of features and who'll always give a reply with a smiling face..and with looks of a real baby also got a morphology to suit that and and looks really good for her...it's the face that when you see and feel like doing..:"GOOGLI GOOGLI WOOSH". A great writer and i would love to blogroll her if she has got ne blog..and if she allows.
NEHA NAGPAL: A good intelligent girl..with just a different but right attitude towards life. Though u couldn't get me medical certificate for free but u r still my friend;-). And you are sensitive but tough at the same time and that why you hv got great times ahead.
SHUBHIKA TANEJA: She's the one who's definitly gonna land at the place where she wants to. A true picture of determination and a brain of a researcher....i dunno how she could deal with defunct units at our campus??..takes lots of patience. I wish you all the success in your efforts in the future. remember if i come to US of A, u'll pick up all the tabs..as you have already given the word for it!!;-). and just to let you know, i only used to bug you about Mahatma Gandhi..he's my idol too, it's just that i have stopped fighting for him o:-).
SONIKA VERMA and SWETA VERMA: i m writing both the names together ..cause i really get confused which one is who?? sorry for the confusion but i have got a way out..the taller one has got smaller and the shorter one has got longer name:-). you know nice things come in packages..and you two have got the most friendly attitude..i really feel bad thtat i could not perform with you two...but probably will get a chance in coming times.
all the best two you!!
SUCHANDRA : i hvn't written the last name..cause (i'll admit) i don't know the spelling i believe! and though vaibhav told me what you think about me, i got no prob cause it's been all my fault . 4 yrs in same colleges and still not talking to teh most gregarious person around...surely was a bee in my bonette and i don't know how to kill it. well you were also one who was up there i the cntenders for IIMS and good to see that you made it.
Savour the taste of success....many more to go!! All the very best.
SHRUTI KHANNA: A great combination of beauty with brain, fire on the dance floor and such personalities are not a dime a dozen. all the very best!!There are lots of admirers of yours in our batch. The world is waiting ...just step in and have a blast.
SONIKA MALHOTRA: The most smiling member of NSIT blogger community and the most optimistic too. The tsunami initiative you took and your participation in the blood donation camps in our college really shows that you got a genuine heart too. :-). Always keep it that way!!!

the post getting too long...so gotta log out!! i'll write a 2nd part...
see ya chums:-).

THE BUZZ word...CBMs

indo-paki realtions....wooow..tht's sth even the BBC covers...and should i be proud of it...ohhh yeah.. i think i m!!!...everyone talks abt it even the the ppl from the west...good to b at the centerstage...CRAP ALL CRAP...i don't give a damn abt wht US of A has to say on this..but i m intereted because....i m really an indi at heart..and that's what has made me come bk to the active blogging arena...one word popped up again and again.. THE CBMs...india building CBMs...pakis building CBMs...i tried to build CBMs...she made all the CBMs go down like a pk of cards..CBMs here..CBMs there...CBMs everywhere!!! BUT the n comes THE QUESTION ...wht r CBMs..???
(1) Welll through indian perspective i know they use it as an acronym for the Confidence Building Measures....and tht's wht i expect from a moderate goverment..the PM wants to save every penny for the economy of teh country, and is a real bean counter...good for our country...three cheers for that...and i know that for everything he looks at Mrs. Gandhi..who does all the CBMs...HEY NOW WHT"S THT...
(2) That's Consultancy Besides Management..so she 's there at every step, taking his finger in her hand and helping him cross the road.but don't get fooled here the other party is buiding/taking/buying CBMs too ...
(3) Yaaaaa!!!!!!! Mr. Pervez Musharuff is really trying to take some CBMs...now wht do u think he had in mind when he talks abt the CBMs.....easy one...Continental Ballistic Missiles...and he's really honest in saying tht he wanna use the CBMs to solve(...or settle!!!) the kashmir issue once and for all!!!
there is one more person who comes into this frame of talks...the one who leads the CBMs....

(4) you got it RIGHT :-)...Mr. Bush...yes and the Coalition of Baghdad Massacre..he is leading..has some vested interests here, tht u all must be knowing...so dubya wants that nothing goes off the track..in afganistan..that's why he for the time being wants the two parties to stay quiet.
and here's where i come in...
(5) Recently i sent some1 i like some...CBMs...( read-> Cute Blandishing Messages...)..and everthing was going fine until my good caring friends decided to help me out their way..and rest is history....I got a real nice long offliner..reading the name of the sender my heart went beating like a train on a track..just for a millionth of a second though....and when i read the full msg..some1 pulled the chain of the train..
(6) All dreams shattered in 4 lines...well actually i appreciatethe way she did it...now the things are crystal clear..all the msgs sent from my id..she saw only CBMs...Crap Between Messages...and now i know....it was all Costly Bandwidth Misuse...

SEE YAA GUYS..and i promise i'll write more..only if u post comments...

happy b'day to me.......

so then again i was proved right.....remember wht i had told u ppl, this is the century of aquarians and the fact was underlined by none other then "THE ONE".....who also is a member of this gr8 clique of aqua....the russian genius Marat Safin ....and just few days back he heralded the dawn of the aqua age. wht a match ...indeed was a clash of titans.
World Number 1 Roger Federer was beaten ultimately in a clash of nerves...and guess wht by a man who can never hold his, though can hold his serve like a master. i don't know y but i always get gravitated by such personalities, ppl who act like bear with a sore head. and no wonder he went on to lift the cup.
i also turned 21 this 24th jan and i think now is the 12th hour for me to act....to some extent i feel i share some qualities with marat but i think tht makes ppl feel that i always hv a bee in my bonette. and i think tht's not good for my field, so i m really trying not to make others feel tht i always think catercorner to the wht most ppl think.
so tht's wht i hv been trying for the past few weeks. our class grp is hving a "hum-tum" war ,so i also joined the in, which for most part has been onesided and though if u wanna enjoy u hv to hv some competition, i had a good break. & in the coming days vipul might also get one ;-), cause though i was only joking i m not sure abt the other guys, vipul i m sorry, but i think they meant wht they said.
well i think the guys just wanted to hv some fun..though girls might call it black humour but then these things r not to b taken seriously.
just few days back i saw PAGE 3 ...ney not the one from the news papers but the movie directed by mr. bhan"dark"ar...he shows the dark side of the world which for most ppl looks to be bright enough to b blinding.
he raises certain issues ...some he is himself facing in real "reel" life ...may b that's y he could do justice with the movie...but doesn't matter i hv to say it's quite a hard hitting movie & makes u think about the system. it's 10 time better than "KISNA"...which is abt a poet, and since no one gives ear to his poems ...he fights and tht's why he becomes a warrior poet...it's a pathetic effort to copy titanic in terms of cinematography and no wonder public kissed death to this movie.
well to all the ppl good bye & take care...
shabakher ...

main aisa kyon hun..?????

wht the hell i m doing with my life????? i really don't hv any answer
...i really like 2 hv a good time..listening to good music, eating spicy food, going to parties, reading good novels...i luv all that..but than i miss out on 1 front..my health...i m really in a bad shape, it's been a couple of days like this. i really think that good health is really something that should b up there in our list, i really think tht i'll hv to do sth abt my fitness,
and as albert schwietzer says---->"happiness is nothing but hving a good health and a bad memory"
bad memory is not sth i need to try for....well what i was talking about....unhhhh...let me see...yayyyayaa..HEALTH...
today i saw the war.."DAVID vs GOLIATH" yes the sania - serena one...the indi looked so very nervous in the first set but then came bk to her senses in the second ..must say enjoyed every bit of it..here we hv an indian
with a great heart....and good looks too. but then as hesh has also said that at this level wht counts is your fitness ,so here v go again. i really wanna make sure this year that i stay in shape and keep tabs on my diet.
and promise to myself that i won't let the bloody bunch of carnivores (....the west ppl)(sorry for using some french here.) to win against because of being more fit.......so this year time to turn HE-MAN (though i won't wear my UnderWear outside my pants)......see ya nxt time till then ..
stay in shape....
